Wheat is one of the oldest and most widely used crops in the world.
For many years, wheat has been considered the most important food source for humans before it became known to feed other plants.
This can be traced back to the lack of other foods, the ease of planting and producing wheat, the ease of transportation and the possibility of planting wheat in most parts of the world.
